As promised during the election campaign, I’ve asked the transport minister to hold an open public meeting for residents and business operators concerned about the Oxford Street East cycleway.

While the project was announced in March 2021, unfortunately there has been very limited information to date and no opportunity to engage with the project design team during their ‘strategic design’ phase. Oxford Street is the regional cycling route and the temporary Moore Park Road cycleway installed during COVID restrictions will be removed when the Oxford Street route is available.
