The City of Sydney is proposing a bi-directional separated cycleway on the northern side of Oxford Street and Liverpool Street to connect the existing Liverpool Street cycleway and a reinstated College Street cycleway to Taylor Square.

Work on the reinstated College Street separated cycleway will start early next year. While approval for Oxford Street should happen in 2022, work will not start until after WorldPride 2023 to prevent disruption to this major international event.
