I joined local resident and business groups at Lord Mayor Clover Moore and Deputy Lord Mayor Jess Scully’s Roundtable on the Blackwattle Precinct Plan, about which we all have serious concerns.

We heard the City of Sydney’s analysis and call for a redesigned plan to create a better, wider foreshore reserve; increase sunlight for parks, streets and neighbours; reduce wind in streets and parks; and protect apartments from noise and air pollution. There needs to be consultation on local infrastructure needs and the plan must complement the overall planning for Pyrmont.
