I’ve opposed the closure of the Powerhouse and alienation/development on the current site, however every response from government to date has stated that they are committed to going ahead with the plan to place holdings in storage and build a new exhibition and events venue in Parramatta. This is not moving the existing museum.

The Parramatta proposal is open for public comment until 7 July: HERE. You may wish to provide comment on that proposal, however comments about Ultimo won’t be considered in the decision.
