The Building Professionals Board oversees private certifiers and its governing act is under review. Despite improvements, concerns remain that private certifiers continue to approve non-complying development and that neighbours have trouble getting redress. I encourage you to make a submission by 12 June if you have been impacted and ask that you send me a copy. Information HERE.
