A dedicated LGBTIQA+ pride museum is set to become a reality following a funding commitment from the City of Sydney for QTOPIA, which has been running as an online museum to date.

The space will be on Oxford Street and celebrate queer culture and achievements plus remind us of the challenges that remain. The museum will be open when WorldPride 2023 brings events, parties and visitors from across the globe to Oxford Street and surrounds. I thank the team of dedicated volunteers at QTOPIA and Lord Mayor Clover Moore for making this happen.

QTOPIA is being launched in the evening Thursday 16 June at the Powerhouse Museum > HERE and QTOPIA > HERE.
