Both the government and opposition have committed to providing a permanent home for the QTOPIA museum at the former Darlinghurst Police Station where the arrested protesters were taken in 1978 > HERE. I’ve advocated for QTOPIA to have a permanent home and this site has symbolic significance, liberating a dark place for the LGBTQ community and turns it into the space of reflection and celebration.

QTOPIA currently has a temporary exhibition in the Bandstand in Green Park > HERE.
