The Asian Australian Alliance report showing increased racist abuse and vilification of people from a wide range of Asian backgrounds is disturbing and against all principles of ‘a fair go’, with increased racial slurs/name calling, physical intimidation, threats and being spat at, particularly in public places like the street, shops and public transport: HERE. The report reminds us that we all need to speak out against discrimination, abuse and vilification, and be allies for those victimised.
