I’m always inspired by community efforts to help refugees where our governments have failed. There’s a network of Australians in the USA working to support those refugees resettled there. Ads-Up provides social and financial support HERE.

The group is also raising funds to help community-funded resettlement teams sponsoring refugees to Canada. The group is currently working to sponsor two LGBT+ refugees imprisoned at Manus Island to live in Canada and are running a GoFundMe campaign for Kamran: HERE and Payam: HERE. They’re looking for donations and help to spread the word to others who want to help.
