I congratulate Lord Mayor Clover Moore for her council minute opposing the so-called Religious Freedom Bill. If passed the bill would give people licence to discriminate against vulnerable groups: HERE.

Clover has been a long time supporter of equality. She and the City of Sydney led local government in support for marriage equality and this advocacy helped build wider community support for law reform. I joined Clover at Fair Day yesterday, where many people told us of their concerns about this legislation.
