With Government and opposition support, I have amended the terms of reference of the current inquiry into energy sustainability to include the economic and workforce opportunities of renewables and a low carbon economy. As chair of the Environment & Planning Committee inquiry, I’m looking forward to working with colleagues and the government to create new jobs, exports, and reduce energy prices.
