Sydney is currently experiencing a severe rental crisis and I am hearing from many tenants being hit with astronomical rent hikes.

Action will be a priority for me when Parliament resumes in May. I will take a broad approach that covers protections for tenants in the private rental market, expanding social and affordable housing safety nets, and preventing the loss of rental homes to short term holiday accommodation.
