Robyn Evans

(Community Recognition Statement, 22 February 2022, Legislative Assembly, NSW Parliament)

On behalf of the Sydney electorate, I wish to put on record the fifteen years of work, leadership and community service of Robyn Evans.

Robyn has made an extraordinary contribution with The Salvation Army and played key leadership roles in their community service provision including their response to human trafficking and support for Indigenous communities. For the past ten years Robyn has been a valued part of the leadership team at Sydney Streetlevel Mission, bringing her social work skills and commitment to inclusion and empowering individuals. Robyn's passion has been a driving force in developing the centre's casework to ensure all vulnerable members of the community are respected and represented, and everyone gets access to support and resources. Robyn's work at Streetlevel has been widely adopted across The Salvation Army. I commend Robyn's dedication and efforts, making a positive difference to the lives of vulnerable people and creating a more inclusive community. I thank Robyn Evans for her commitment to the people of Sydney for the last fifteen years and wish her well for future endeavours.

Let's work together to celebrate and protect our great city!
