In Parliament, I put on record the amazing contribution of Ronni Kahn to Sydney and particularly her work on food waste. Ronni is founder and CEO of food rescue charity OzHarvest, which has delivered over 210 million meals since 2004, currently delivering over one million meals a month to over 400 charities.

OzHarvest collects quality surplus food from a network of donors and passes this on to people in need, reducing hunger and food waste. Ronni set up OzHarvest Market, the world's first free supermarket. For her service to the community, Ronni has been awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia and was recently given the Key to the City of Sydney > HERE. My statement > HERE.
