Save Community Justice Centres Petition
Community Justice Centres (CJCs) provide a free, confidential, and voluntary mediation service locally to resolve disputes without court action. They assist around 10,000 residents annually. Recently, the NSW Attorney General announced that CJCs will close on 30 June 2025. A new service will replace some of CJC functions but many will slip through the cracks leading to expensive private mediation or court action and increased inequality. A petition has been opened to sign in NSW Parliament aimed at saving NSW CJCs. More information and sign the petition > HERE
