The latest Demographia comparison shows Sydney has the third least affordable housing in the world (report is HERE). 

My submission to the government’s Social Housing Discussion Paper supports a social housing system that encourages independence and is fair and sustainable. Unfortunately the paper glosses over that there will always be some people who need permanent supported housing. It also ignores the long term decline in social housing funding that has reduced available homes and governments’ failure to ensure more affordable housing. My submission is HERE.
