My contribution to the Social Media Week panel on ‘Social & Politics’ stressed the importance of using social media to educate and inform, rather than only attack and defend.  Constituents have been contacting me about an increase in racist abuse and intolerance, with anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim rants and threats. We should all speak out against these actions and I’ve asked a question in Parliament about what the NSW Government can do to encourage tolerance and acceptance of diversity HERE.
