The recent review of eastern suburb bus services resulted in significant changes proposed for routes that link with the inner city.

Buses 392, 394, 397, 399, 373 and 377 will no longer link with Anzac Parade, Flinders Street and Oxford Street, with passengers required to change to more frequent 396 bus services. Similarly 338, 339, 374, 376 and 391 bus services on Fitzroy Street and Foveaux Street Surry Hills will be replaced by extra 339 and 374 buses that will stop at Central.

I’ve asked the Minister for Transport and Infrastructure to provide direct public transport between the south eastern suburbs and Flinders Street and Oxford Street where there are major destinations and services including the art schools and St Vincent’s Hospital.
