Proposed 13 level redevelopment of St Vincent’s Private Hospital is open for public comment with the Department of Planning until 25 May. The new East Wing to be built between the private and public hospitals includes two new operating theatres, 48 inpatient beds, consulting suites and a rehabilitation gym. The new building requires removal of some trees and will mean a new façade along Victoria Street. Residents who have contacted me are concerned about traffic and on-street parking impacts.
