Venues NSW is holding information sessions about the plan to increase the number of concerts that may be held at Allianz Stadium from four to 20 per year. The proposal includes extending rehearsal finishing times and sound tests from 7pm to 10pm and maximum concert length from five hours to 10 hours. The official Mardi Gras after party would be exempt from the 11pm concert curfew if Mardi Gras moved this event to the stadium.
