The Boomerang Alliance has published the first independent audit report on plastics in supermarkets, showing little action to reduce the amount of plastic used and discarded. The report shows small steps to allow BYO containers and remove plastic straws and cutlery, but no plans to reduce single-serve or small portion items, nor to sell loose fresh produce at the same price as pre-packaged fresh produce > HERE.
