On behalf of the Sydney Electorate, I congratulate the Bookshop Darlinghurst for 40 years providing books for and about the LGBTIQ+ communities. Located in the heart of Oxford Street, this shop has a strong reputation among the LGBTI community in Sydney and NSW, across Australia, and even internationally, as the place to source books, magazines, calendars and DVDs. I always hear positive feedback about the expert specialist advice from bookshop staff. The Bookshop Darlinghurst is also where I send friends looking for inclusive books for children's birthdays, parents of kids coming out and allies wanting to understand about sexuality and gender diversity. Congratulations to The Bookshop Darlinghurst celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. The business has undergone many changes in that time, most recently challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic by pivoting their stock online, and I hope they will continue to be a permanent and valued fixture in the Sydney electorate.
