In Parliament I put on record the innovative efforts of Thread Together, a volunteer program that provides new, good quality clothing and shoes to people in need by redirecting unsold clothes from over 40 fashion partners. The project is a great example of helping the environment and people who are homeless, young people at risk, Indigenous people, domestic violence survivors, refugees and people who've been unemployed for long periods.
