In response to my advocacy and question in parliament, the health minister has committed to funding support services to trans and gender diverse organisations including a program to empower our future trans and gender diverse leaders. 

The NSW LGBTIQ+ Health Strategy found trans and gender diverse people had shocking rates of attempted self-harm and suicide and the funding will boost support for their health and wellbeing.
