Transport Advocacy

I’ve continued advocating for better inner city transport with representations, questions in Parliament and personally with the minister.

Changes were made to the 389 bus route as part of south eastern buses, without local consultation, removing well-used access from Pyrmont to the central CBD. I’ve repeatedly asked the minister to add an extra stop in the city, but his latest response claims that this is not possible because of “operational reasons” and limited bus stop opportunities in the Central Business District (CBD).” My May questions > HERE

I’ve also asked the minister to add Pyrmont to the Blackwattle ferry service, but his response to my latest questions says there are “no plans” to do so. His response stated that a ferry to the Fish Market, Pyrmont and Blackwattle Bay will be considered as part of future service planning > HERE

Paddington and Edgecliff residents have raised concerns about Edgecliff railway station and service capacity, however the minister’s response to my questions states there is “sufficient capacity to support continued patronage” > HERE.

Let's work together to celebrate and protect our great city!
