I welcome the government’s acceptance of the City of Sydney’s offer for sale of the former Wattle Street depot site for a 1,000 student Ultimo Public School with an 80 place childcare centre and Outside School Hours Care. This is a great win for the inner city and I congratulate all those who have been working with me to get this outcome. The new school is set to open for term 1 in 2018. Last week I joined parents, teachers, and students to celebrate the school's 100th anniversary at their currents site.
