Last night I spoke at the Ultimo Public School P&C meeting last night addressing the government’s broken promise for a 1,000 student school and childcare in Wattle Street. We need a new school urgently and one big enough to cater for the growing population. Like many parents, I left the meeting with with more questions than answers and frustrated that there has been no evidence or business case for abandoning plans for the new school, and no plan for what will happen to students while the current site is being redeveloped.
