The Minister for Roads and Ports’ response to my 500 signature petitions calling for reinstatement of the direct Harris Street walkway over Darling Harbour to the CBD is disappointing – suggesting that a lift to ground level and then circuitous and indirect route crossing major roads is better than a direct link.
