THE draft metropolitan strategy for Sydney estimates that Sydney will have about 1.3 million additional people by 2031. Massive development programs including Barangaroo, Darling Harbour Live and the Central to Eveleigh are set to deliver homes to ­accommodate this increase and hand the government a further stamp duty windfall.

We must not forget those who do not have a home or safe refuge.
