Constituents regularly contact me about the sequential loss of water bubblers from public places like railway stations, often replaced by vending machines selling water in plastic bottles.
The Minister for Water, Property and Housing’s response to my questions says the government is partnering with councils to install more water stations to encourage people to carry and refill water bottles to prevent plastic waste, particularly at sites where there are large numbers of visitors: HERE
