An amended application for the White City redevelopment has been lodged. With most of the planned development already approved, my submission focussed on traffic and construction impacts, which risk local amenity and safety. I share widespread community concern about trucks taking long indirect routes through local streets including past the Glenmore Road Public School to get out of Paddington, and about conflict between young Sydney Grammar School Students and visitors using the Alma Street entrance. My submission also called for conditions to ensure the Paddington Greenway project can proceed in the future.

While the proposal is not what the community long worked for, I welcome the much needed upgrade to the site and introduction of new recreational facilities.
