You can comment on the Hakoah Club multi-purpose sports centre and registered club DA (477/2019) for the approved White City at 30 Alma Road Paddington until 20 February. The proposal includes a football field, nine tennis courts, and a sports building with ground level car parking, first floor 25 metre pool, learner pool, gym, second level gym and third level community space. A separate three storey club building includes a 260 seat grandstand. There will be a future DA for childcare and enclosing some facilities. Details: HERE

I’ve previously raised community concerns about protecting students and the community from construction impacts. I hope this development delivers on the promised sport, recreation and community facilities for Paddington and as well as Hakoah Club members on the site that’s been underused for many years.
