This year marks an opportunity to rebuild our local economy and focus on the future. My early priorities for 2021 will be ensuring the continuation of support for homelessness support services, supporting small business and live music recovery, delivering a committee report on transitioning to renewable energy in a way that creates jobs and supports community, and working towards important legislative reforms including voluntary assisted dying, banning puppy farms, and support for the trans and gender diverse communities.
