Thanks to the more than 10,500 people who signed the online petition calling for companion animals to be allowed on trains in NSW. The petition has now closed and the minister will be required to provide a response. The petition follows passage of an Animal Justice Party motion in the Legislative Council calling on the government to investigate and consult on the matter and a Lord Mayoral Minute from Clover Moore in support of companion animals on public transport.
