More Blue Plaques

The government has announced 14 new Blue Plaques approved to acknowledge people who’ve made special contributions through our history. This round includes Kathleen Butler who was integral to the Sydney Opera House construction and Pearl Gibbs, prominent female Aboriginal rights activist who was heavily involved in the development of the 1938 Day of Mourning and the establishment of the Aboriginal Tent Embassy > HERE

There are already 35 blue plaques in place. You can nominate people you’d like recognised > HERE

Let's work together to celebrate and protect our great city!
