Redevelopment without needed open space and community facilities – the Powerhouse Museum is up next. The Powerhouse collection could expand to Western Sydney but its base belongs in Ultimo, close to the hubs of tourism, cultural institutions, Darling Harbour, higher education and Sydney’s tech start-ups.
