In response to the lack of bottle and can return depots across the inner city, the Boomerang Alliance has set up a Return and Earn depot at 310 Princes Highway St Peters open to residents and businesses www.citizenblue.org.au.

The project will expand to support microbusinesses that deal with our waste explosion and remove rubbish from our waterways and public domain, including large pick-ups from commercial outlets and event waste management.

Unfortunately, the minister’s response to my questions about increasing the number of inner city outlets just says that this is up to the scheme operator. See response HERE.
