Alex Greenwich questions validity of Shooters and Fishers’ City of Sydney business voting amendment

SYDNEY Independent MP Alex Greenwich is seeking to repeal a controversial Bill that gives businesses in the City of Sydney two votes to residents’ one in future council elections.

Mr Greenwich said a ­series of internal emails ­obtained via a Freedom of Information request revealed a “haphazard, rushed approach” by the State Government in getting the legislation passed.
