Better Wool
Humane Society International has been campaigning to stop cruel mulesing of sheep. To prevent flystrike, most merino lambs bred for wool at 2-10 weeks of age are restrained in a metal cradle and have the flesh from their backside sliced off with sharp garden-style shears, often without pain relief. Sign their petition calling for a phase out of mulesing by 2030 and mandatory pain relief for painful procedures on lambs now > HERE
