In Parliament, I spoke on the 50^th anniversary of the pioneering organisation, the Campaign Against Moral Persecution (CAMP). We should remember the brave individuals who ‘came out’ as homosexual publicly, exposing themselves to vilification and abuse, losing jobs, homes and families when they publicly admitted their sexuality and spoke up for justice. CAMP was the base for many of the groups and services that grew to support LGBTIQ communities and provided support and services. My statement: HERE
