I met with Cancer Council representative and discussed current priorities for action on cancer. I’ve asked questions in Parliament about smoking impacts and for the Minister for Health to regulate food advertising to children to encourage healthy eating. My letter here.

The Cancer Council has a strong policy position supporting medical use of cannabis, which I have committed to support in Parliament. A Greens bill has already been introduced and another is expected from a government backbencher.
