In Parliament I called for greater investment in the CBD so that it can continue to attract workers and visitors, and grow in vibrancy and dynamism. The CBD is in recovery from COVID, with figures showing more people in the office, on the streets, at events and out at night, with late night visits now higher than pre-COVID levels. The CBD is Sydney’s heart and soul and the engine room of the economy. Investment through funding events, visitor attractions and good active and public transport links will ensure it is an exciting place that fosters collaboration, innovations and resourcefulness.
