I continue to hear from small business owners in the CBD that they are struggling to survive. Data show that workers and visitors in the city centre are down with a drop in numbers experienced this year despite reduced restrictions. A thriving CBD is essential to attracting business, innovation and tourism to Sydney and we cannot afford to let the CBD decline any further.

I raised this with the small business minister in August and have followed up with a request for a strategic revitalisation approach, with a revamp of the promised vouchers to be used to support small businesses > HERE.
