I support the ACOSS campaign to reduce child poverty. New research published for Anti-Poverty Week confirms that one in six children in Australia grow up in poverty HERE.

The ACOSS/UNSW Poverty in Australia report shows that the boost in income support payments during the early pandemic reduced poverty for adults and children, with child poverty rates at the lowest level in 20 years! But the gains were short-lived. Child poverty has increased again.
