The City of Sydney needs volunteers for their Street Count which will be carried out across streets, parks and other public places to count the number of rough sleepers in the inner city. I’ve done this a number of times and it is a great way to understand a bit about homelessness and how hard it is living on the street. 

The count is from 11:45pm Monday 1 August into the early hours of Tuesday 2 August. The results help to track changes and advocacy for better homelessness services. Register HERE.
