(Community Recognition Statement, 20 September 2023, Legislative Assembly, NSW Parliament)

On behalf of the Sydney electorate, I thank Clr Susan Wynne for her service to the Woollahra Municipality as Mayor. Clr Wynne has been a collaborative and forward looking leader for four years and I want to put on record my appreciation of the work she has done supporting the community and working within council to improve services, facilities and governance.

I especially value Clr Wynne's efforts with the Yes23 referendum campaign, her work with the LGBTIQA+ communities and her focus on environmental sustainability. She led the council during challenging times with COVID-19 and major demographic and social changes.

I look forward to continuing to work with Clr Wynne in her ongoing role as a councillor and I am sure as a leader into the future.
