Community groups can apply for small capital grants totalling $300,000 for the Sydney electorate through the Community Building Partnership. Applications are open 2-27 September for local non-profit community groups who contribute to public benefit. Information and applications HERE

Grants last year went to new St John’s Anglican Church hall toilets, upgrading the Australian Chinese Community Association kitchen, the Friends of the Botanic Gardens nursery upgrade, Glenmore Road Public School solar, Sloths Dragon Boating Club equipment, Woolloomooloo PCYC lift, St Francis Social Services Paddington training room, The Jewish War Memorial toilets, The Wayside Chapel refurbishments and Woollahra Council’s EJ Ward Community Centre upgrade.
