COVID Changes

COVID Changes

Masks are no longer mandatory on public transport in NSW but remain mandatory in health and residential care settings > HERE. However, I encourage you to continue wearing them in crowded places or if you are mixing with people with compromised immunity who are at greater risk of serious disease.

Long COVID remains an ongoing risk. We should still work to prevent spread of the virus – vaccination reduces the risk of Long COVID while re-infection makes it more likely. The Conversation reports even mild COVID cases are linked with heart attack and stroke > HERE.

You can make submissions to the federal Parliamentary Inquiry into Long COVID and Repeated COVID Infections until 18 November >   HERE

Let's work together to celebrate and protect our great city!
