Liquor and Gaming NSW is reviewing the cumulative impact restrictions on new alcohol outlets in the southern CBD, Darlinghurst/Oxford Street, Wynyard Station and surrounds, and Kings Cross. The controls replaced the earlier liquor freeze and aimed to prevent alcohol-related harm from higher risk licensed premises like pubs, clubs, nightclubs and bottle shops in these areas where there were a significant number of liquor outlets and serious community safety risks.
