With a coalition of health groups including the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Nurses and Midwives Association and the Health Services Union, I’ve again called for a pill testing trial during this summer’s music festival season to prevent further drug-related deaths > HERE.

Drug checking can identify high-risk drug samples before people consume them, reducing harm and the risk of deaths. While the government has committed to a drug summit next year there is no date set yet and we should protect people now.
